One of the oldest varieties from the Languedoc region of France,  Picpoul Blanc exudes mouthwatering acidity and freshness.  Produced locally at the Nolan Vineyard in the Alisos Canyon AVA. Picpoul means "lip stinger" which you will immediately understand with your first sip.  Its zesty brightness pulls you in and leads to notes of citrus, white peach,  lychee, and hints of limestone. The lengthy midpalate lingers to a snappy finish leaving you wanting for more. This wine is perfect for a hot summer day and will complement any Santa Barbara shellfish dish, particularly oysters.
