One of the great noble grapes of Bordeaux that thrives in the Happy Canyon region in Santa Barbara county. Low in alcohol at 12.5% this wonderfully aromatic wine  emulates notes of  red  fruits and a tomato garden. On the pallet is symphony of bing cherry, red currant, raspberry and baking spices with wonderfully balanced acidity that will battle any well marbled steak you introduce to it. The tannins are present but not overwhelming, lending a soft cage for the red fruits to come screaming off the finish.
